Tournament Fees & Rules:

Fees:

  1. The entry fee is
    • Rs 2,500.00 (Rupees Two Thousand Rupees Only) for UAGA Members
    • Rs 3,500.00 (Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred Only) for non-UAGA affiliated golfers.
    • Rs 2,000.00 (Rupees Two Thousand Rupees Only) for Golfers registering under “Professional Category”.
  2. The entry fee form must include participating players duly attested handicap (except for Professional Category)
  3. Players unable to produce a duly attested handicap certificate/card shall play under the “Professional Category” on a scratch handicap.
  4. The caddie fees are extra and will be paid by the participating golfer at the rate decided by the Tournament committee.
  5. The last date for receiving entry fee, along-with form is 29-January-2025 after which spot-registration will be allowed on availability basis at Rs 4,000.00 (Rupees Four Thousand Only).
  6. Entry Fee for last year’s over-all Ladies and Gents Winners is free.

Terms of Competition: 47th AAAIGC:

  • FORMAT: Winner and Runner-up Gross, Net, Bogey and Stableford across all categories. The main championship trophies will be on Gross Score.
  • MAXIMUM SCORE FORMAT:( 17-25 Men and 0-36 Women category) For 17-24 and 0-36 Women categories a player’s score will be capped at maximum score of quadrupole bogey i.e 7 for par 3, 8 for par 4 and 9 for par 5. A player should stop playing a hole and pick up their ball as soon as their score has reached the maximum. A player who does not hole out under the rules for any reason gets maximum score for the hole.
  • PRIZES: Prizes across all categories for each day’s & two days’ score in all formats, including over-all prizes are for amateur golfers only. However, the committee reserves the right to curtail the number of prizes in any category based on the number of entries. If there is only one golfer participating from any handicap category, the awards for that particular handicap category shall stand withdrawn.
  • QUALIFICATION FOR PRIZES: Prizes across all categories for each day’s & two days’ score in all formats, including over-all prizes are for amateur golfers only. Amateur golfers who have taken part/participated in the Amateur Circuit are permitted to play but shall not be eligible for the prizes.
  • HANDICAP: The responsibility of correctness of one’s handicap lies with the player. The committee reserves the right to verify a player’s handicap in any manner possible and a player will be disqualified if his declared handicap is found to be higher than what is his or her latest handicap. Handicap card/certificate must be produced on demand.
  • AGCA RANKING POINTS – In addition to the prizes on offer for all amateur golfers, there are AGCA ranking points on offer based on Gross Score. The details of AGCA ranking points will be intimated.
  • CADDIE,SECURITY GUARD,PERSONAL ATTENDANT etc.: Apart from the caddie no other person such as security guard, personal attendant, friend etc. will be allowed to walk with the player during the round.
  • PACE OF PLAY: It is incumbent on every group to keep pace with the group immediately ahead. Any group found to be slow will be monitored first and then put on the clock. The time allowed for player for every shot is 50 seconds. PENALTY: First offence: One stroke, Second offence: Two strokes. For subsequent offence: DQ.
  • DECISION ON TIE: In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided through a sudden death Play-off on the 18th hole to be repeated until the winner is determined. For other categories it will be decided by Scorecard Count-Back.
  • PRACTICE ROUND : Practice round will be allowed on the 31st January 2025 i.e Friday on the entire course upto 12 noon back nine and 2 pm front 9. No practice putting and chipping allowed on any of the greens before and during round except as provided for below.
  • NOTE : The Tournament Rules Committee reserves the right to amend/modify any of the Rules of Play prior to commencement of event. It is the responsibility of the registered person to be aware of the stated Rules of Play.

DESIGNATED PRACTICE AREA:

Putting Green 6th Green till the first group reaches the 5th tee.
Chipping Green Chipping area left of tee 01.
Practice Driving Range Hole 5 (as marked near the helipad). Before play – Till the first group reaches the 4th Tee. After play – After the last group reaches Green 6.
